The device is small and compact and works as advertised. The live view and person detection feature is good and detects a person if they are standing behind the gate or if any object is in between and sends a notification. The motion detection is something I have not used a lot, it detects motion fairly accurately. Night vision is also good, it is not color but good enough to see the person and movement. The audio quality is also good. You can use SD card for continuous recording and the app shows the amount of memory used on the card instantly. The app interface is also good and it is very easy to setup. The only thing is while installing if you are using any mount, use the smallest mount possible. All ready made mounts are big but this camera is compact so the holes might not line up. Overall, a good deal
